I have found many photos of cc engine bays on line, but they usually have the heater fan intake duct line in the way, and since the brake lines mount down low, I cannot detect the location of the brake hard lines. The center hole will empty down into the transmission tunnel, while the holes on either end will duct to the defroster and footwell ducts. I can fab up the lines, but I am wondering whether the later model RB cc engine cars have the lines moved to the left side from the factory. The assembly is supported by a thick piece of rollbar padding, and sits crosswise right in the valley where the footwell and the fenderwell meet. I have removed the small post that goes from the slam plate to the inlet floor, to give maximum unobstructed room for a "pusher" electric fan. Went a little crazy on the heater shelf, but the heater was fused to the shelf very well, so we just cut around the heater. I then inserted the barbed end of the steel MG line fitting back into the plastic line.

Here's an idea that I've tossed around: These parts were chosen to work with the stock Midget master cylinder. This site is maintained by Mike Barnes. Also the gearbox is rather large so would probably require hacking the car around alot.
Mantell Motorsport - MG Conversions
With the proper tuning on the 2. Every care has been taken in compiling these pages to ensure that they are accurate and correct. Photographs have been supplied by many people who have all taken a different approach to the task. I found a company called Spridgetech, who specialize in composite body parts for racing Midgets and Sprites, and learned that their lightweight fiberglass fenders and hood would give me the room I needed for wider wheels. This site is meant to be purely a photographic reference to engine conversions in MGs.
Description: With the proper tuning on the 2. I also designed and fabricated caliper mounts and modified the rotor hats to clear suspension parts and keep the calipers clear of the wheels. Do you have any pictures or information of any MG engine swap you would allow me to display on this site? Newly installed Spridgetech fenders.
